If you are planning a Gold Coast trip from overseas, a multi-park pass is the simplest way to have Movie World, Sea World and Wet n Wild sorted before you fly. Here is what the pass actually covers, how the validity window works, and — importantly — when a different pass would serve you better.
It’s a single booking covering entry to all three Gold Coast parks. The common structure gives you any three days of park entry within five consecutive days of your first visit, with longer seven-day and fourteen-day versions available, some of which add Paradise Country as a fourth park.
Warner Bros. Movie World is a thrill park. DC Rivals HyperCoaster is the tallest, longest and fastest hypercoaster in the Southern Hemisphere, with a rear-facing seat option for anyone who wants it worse.
The Wizard of Oz precinct — a world-first themed land — added two family coasters, the suspended Flight of the Wicked Witch and the boomerang racer Kansas Twister, both with a 95cm height minimum, so younger kids aren’t shut out.
Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster reopened in December 2025 after a rebuild with new projections and effects. Add live stunt shows, the Star Parade and character meet-and-greets.
Sea World is the gentler day. The New Atlantis precinct carries the rides, and daily marine presentations fill out the rest. It’s the park most people slot in as a half-day when energy is flagging.
Wet’n’Wild is the water park next door to Movie World. The 2026 addition is Zoom Zone, a set of colour-changing enclosed slides. Alongside it sit AquaLoop, the family-scale Mammoth Falls and the Giant Wave Pool.
This matters more than any booking tip, and most guides skip it because it’s inconvenient.

Be aware that Village Roadshow, which operates all three parks, sells its own annual passes covering four parks for twelve months, with a standard Premium price of $229 and periodic sales well below that.
If you live in Queensland or expect to return within the year, that is straightforwardly better value than any short multi-day pass, and you should buy it instead. Where a multi-day pass earns its place is a different scenario: you are travelling internationally, you want the booking done and paid for before you land.
Also, you rather have one confirmation on your phone than an account with an Australian operator, and you are never coming back within twelve months. That’s a real use case, and it’s the one this pass serves well.
Pick your pass length first, since the validity window is the thing people get wrong. Book online ahead of arrival — gate tickets cost up to $10 more, and during peak season the counter queue alone can cost you an hour of park time.
Your ticket arrives digitally, with nothing to print or collect. All three parks run on the Village Roadshow Theme Parks app, and depending on your pass type you may need to load the ticket onto it before your first visit.
On the day, show your voucher and photo ID at whichever park you are starting with; redemption happens at the gate. Keep the same ticket for your remaining visits — there’s no rebooking, you just turn up on another day inside your window and scan it again.
Book the three-park multi-day pass, or compare the five-day version and the seven-day pass that adds Paradise Country.
Validity windows are fixed and not extendable. A five-day, three-park pass gives you any three days of entry within five consecutive days of your first visit — not three days scattered across a two-week holiday. If your itinerary has gaps, the seven-day or fourteen-day options exist for exactly that reason.
Most multi-day passes are non-refundable and non-reschedulable. Confirm your dates before paying. Note that Village Roadshow’s own direct bookings allow date changes up to five times before 9am on the day of visit, with possible fare differences — third-party passes generally don’t carry that flexibility, so check the terms attached to whichever you buy.
Bring photo ID, particularly on reduced-price or child tickets, since parks can ask for identification matching the booking.
Children under 3 don’t need a ticket but must be accompanied by a paying adult. From age 3 up, a valid ticket is required. Discounted single-day child tickets exist for ages 3 to 13, though child discounts generally don’t apply to annual passes.
Parking and inter-park transfers aren’t universal. Some tiers bundle them, others don’t. Check your specific option before budgeting the day.
Arrive at opening. All three parks fill from late morning, and early entry means shorter queues on DC Rivals and better seats at Sea World’s presentations.
Weekdays are noticeably calmer than weekends at Movie World and Wet’n’Wild. If your trip spans a weekend, put Sea World, the beach or a hinterland day trip there instead.
Save Wet’n’Wild for the hottest forecast day, and pack a change of clothes if you’re heading anywhere afterwards. Check each park’s app on the morning of your visit — attractions close for maintenance, and two minutes saves a wasted walk.
Movie World rewards a full day. Sea World works as a half-day. Wet’n’Wild depends entirely on the weather.
