A Yas Island Diwali festive offer package for 2026 works out at roughly AED 570 per person for all four theme parks, or AED 395 if you only want two and Diwali itself falls on Sunday, 8 November 2026. Then add a hotel night through Yas Island’s Stay and Play deal and the park entry comes bundled in, one park per night you book.
One thing to clear up first, because half the people searching this get it wrong. Yas Island isn’t actually in Dubai. It sits in Abu Dhabi instead, about 90 minutes down the E11. That turns out to be good news, not bad — Dubai does the big Diwali shopping and fireworks, Abu Dhabi has the parks and the mandir, and you can do both in one long weekend without changing hotels if you don’t want to.
Below: the exact Diwali dates, what every ticket costs, how the hotel packages are priced, the cheapest ways to get across from Dubai, and a two-day plan that actually fits around puja timings. I’ve also flagged the two dates where people are going to get caught out.

Diwali 2026 dates, and why they shape the whole trip
Diwali 2026 actually lands beautifully for a short break. Better still, the main night is a Sunday, so the UAE weekend covers the best of it.
| Day | Date (UAE) | What happens | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dhanteras | Friday, 6 November 2026 | Gold and utensil buying | Dubai Gold Souk, mall promotions |
| Naraka Chaturdashi | Sunday, 8 November 2026 | Chhoti Diwali | Travel day to Abu Dhabi |
| Lakshmi Puja (main Diwali) | Sunday, 8 November 2026 | Puja after sunset | Mandir visit, fireworks |
| Govardhan Puja / Annakut | Monday, 9 November 2026 | Annakut offering | Check mandir timings first |
| Bhai Dooj | Tuesday, 10 November 2026 | Family day | Theme parks, quieter crowds |
Dubai runs its Festival of Lights programme from 2 to 12 November 2026, so the city is lit for a full ten days either side. Abu Dhabi, by contrast, doesn’t do a city-wide festival in the same way. What it has instead is the mandir, the parks, and far smaller queues — which, honestly, is the trade most families would take.
What a Yas Island Diwali festive offer package actually includes
Here’s the part nobody says out loud. Yas Island simply doesn’t sell one product called a Diwali package. There’s no button for it — none, in fact. What exists instead is a set of pieces you bolt together, and done right it costs less than any pre-made “festive bundle” you’ll be quoted by a travel desk.
- A Yas Island multi-park pass first, covering two, three or four parks on one booking.
- Then a hotel night or two, booked as a Stay and Play package, which folds park entry into the room rate.
- Transport too — and several tickets already include a free shuttle, which quietly saves a family of four a few hundred dirhams.
- A mandir slot, booked separately and free, but it needs registering in advance.
- And whatever Dubai-side Diwali shopping or fireworks you want on the other days, too.
Put those five together and you’ve built your own Yas Island Diwali festive offer package. The savings live almost entirely in the pass and the shuttle, so that’s where I’d start.
Yas Island ticket prices for Diwali 2026
Four parks sit on the island: Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld. Only two of them realistically fit into a weekend, though. Single tickets are fine when you want one park and one park only. Two or more, and the maths changes fast.
| Ticket | From (AED) | Validity | Worth it when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ferrari World tickets | 350 | Single day | One park only, thrill-seekers |
| Warner Bros World tickets | 350 | Single day | Younger kids, indoor and cool |
| SeaWorld Abu Dhabi tickets | 350 | Single day | Full day, slowest pace |
| Yas Waterworld tickets | 280 | Single day | November water temps are perfect |
| 2-park pass | 395 | 6 days from first use | A weekend trip |
| 3-park pass | 480 | 6 days from first use | Three days, relaxed |
| 4-park pass | 570 | 6 days from first use | The whole Diwali week |

Look at the jump from two parks to three, though. AED 85. That’s it, for a whole extra park. Three to four costs another AED 90, which puts the 4-park pass at roughly AED 142 a park — about AED 760 cheaper per person than four tickets bought separately. You can book the Yas Island multi-park pass here, and our multi-park pass guide breaks the numbers down park by park.
The six-day validity is the bit people miss, too. Your parks don’t have to be consecutive. Start on Dhanteras, take Diwali itself off for the mandir and the puja, then finish the parks on Bhai Dooj. Same pass, no extra charge.
Stay and Play: the hotel side of your Yas Island Diwali festive offer package
Yas Island’s own hotel deal, meanwhile, is called Stay and Play, and the structure is refreshingly simple. One night of hotel basically buys you one theme park. Two nights, two parks. It scales up to four.
| Nights booked | Theme parks included | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| 1 night | 1 park per person | Quick Dubai escape |
| 2 nights | 2 parks per person | The Diwali weekend |
| 3 nights | 3 parks per person | Families with school holidays |
| 4+ nights | 4 parks per person | The full festive week |
Participating hotels run from the Yas Plaza cluster and DoubleTree at the cheap end right up to W Abu Dhabi and Hilton Yas Island. The WB Abu Dhabi sits somewhere in between, and if you’ve got kids who love cartoons it’s a genuinely good shout. Breakfast comes included at some properties, not all. Cancellation stays flexible up to 24 hours before arrival on bookings made through 31 December 2026, which matters more than usual in a festival week when plans shift.
Rates climb over Diwali weekend, naturally. They climb harder over the Grand Prix in December, so if your dates are movable, November is already the cheaper month. Full details sit on the official Yas Island Stay and Play page.
Getting from Dubai to Yas Island for Diwali
Transport is where a Yas Island Diwali festive offer package quietly leaks money. Four options, and the gap between the cheapest and the dearest runs to about AED 600 for a family — so compare properly before you book.
| How | Cost | Time | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ticket with free shuttle | Included | ~2 hours | Cheapest by a mile for families |
| Intercity bus | From AED 25 | 90 min | Ibn Battuta or Al Ghubaiba, Hafilat card |
| Taxi or ride-hailing | AED 200–300 | 90 min | Surges badly on Diwali evening |
| Private transfer | AED 300–600 | 90 min | Fixed price, door to door |
| Self-drive | AED 80–120 a day | 90 min | E11 all the way, easy parking |
If you’re a family of four, the shuttle-inclusive tickets are the obvious call — our Warner Bros World tickets with free shuttle and SeaWorld Abu Dhabi tickets with free shuttle both bundle the transfer. That’s AED 800 of taxis you simply don’t pay. For every other route, our Dubai to Abu Dhabi transport guide has the pickup points and timings.
One warning about Diwali night, though. Ride-hailing surges hard in both cities between about 7pm and 10pm. Book the return leg in advance, or plan to eat on the island and travel late.
BAPS Hindu Mandir: the stop that makes it a Diwali trip
You can do theme parks any weekend of the year, obviously. The mandir is what turns this into Diwali, though. And the geography is almost suspiciously convenient — BAPS Hindu Mandir sits on Al Taf Road, just off Exit 366 on the E11, which is the road you’re already driving down from Dubai.
- Open Tuesday to Sunday, 9am to 8pm. Closed on Mondays.
- Ganga Aarti runs at 7:30pm on weekdays, and at 6:45pm plus 7:30pm on weekends and holidays.
- Registration is mandatory, so turning up unregistered means being turned away at the gate.
- Bring a government ID too — Emirates ID or passport, for every visitor.
- Visit slots can only be booked once you’re already in the UAE.
Now the catch I promised. Govardhan Puja in 2026 falls on Monday, 9 November — the mandir’s normal closing day. Temples often open specially for Annakut, but “often” isn’t “definitely”. Check the official BAPS Hindu Mandir website before you build a day around it. Registration also fills up quickly in festival week, so do it the day you land.
A two-day Diwali weekend plan for Yas Island
Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November is usually the sweet spot for a short Yas Island Diwali festive offer package. Here’s how I’d run it with a 2-park pass and one hotel night.
| When | What | Why this order |
|---|---|---|
| Sat, 8am | Leave Dubai on the E11 | So you beat the Sheikh Zayed Road crawl |
| Sat, 10am | Ferrari World or Warner Bros. World | Indoor, so the midday heat doesn’t matter |
| Sat, 7pm | Check in, dinner at Yas Bay | Waterfront, so no driving after dark |
| Sun, 9am | Yas Waterworld | Because November water is warm, queues are short |
| Sun, 4pm | Drive to BAPS Hindu Mandir | Also, Exit 366 is on your way home |
| Sun, 6:45pm | Ganga Aarti, then Lakshmi Puja | Since main Diwali is this evening |
| Sun, 9pm | Back to Dubai | Traffic has thinned by then |
Got a third day? Use Bhai Dooj on Tuesday for SeaWorld — it’s the slowest, most walkable park, and school groups are gone by then. More ideas in our guide to places to visit on Yas Island and the wider Abu Dhabi day trip plan.
Which park should you pick for Diwali week?
If your Yas Island Diwali festive offer package only covers two parks, choose on temperature and age, not on hype.
| Park | Best for | Indoor? | Time needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ferrari World | Teens and adults, record-breaking coasters | Mostly | 5–6 hours |
| Warner Bros. World | Ages 4–12, zero sun exposure | Fully | 6–7 hours |
| SeaWorld Abu Dhabi | Mixed-age families, slow pace | Fully | 7–8 hours |
| Yas Waterworld | Everyone, November especially | Outdoor | 5–6 hours |

November typically sits around the low thirties in the daytime, which is why Waterworld moves from “survivable” to genuinely lovely. Our Yas Island theme parks comparison goes deeper if you’re torn, and Ferrari World ticket options covers the ride list.
How to book your Yas Island Diwali festive offer package step by step
- Pick your dates before anything else. Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November is the obvious pair.
- Buy the pass before the hotel. The multi-park pass is the bigger saving and it fixes how many park days you need.
- Check whether your ticket already includes the free shuttle from Dubai. If it does, skip the transfer quotes entirely.
- Then book the room, as a Stay and Play package if you want park entry folded in rather than bought separately.
- Register for the mandir once you land. Not before — the system won’t let you.
- Keep free cancellation on everything you can, too. Festival-week plans move.
- Then pre-book your Diwali-evening ride home. Seriously.
Start with Yas Island tickets for the full list of passes, or browse theme parks in Abu Dhabi if you want to compare beyond the island.
Four mistakes people make booking a Diwali trip here
I’ve watched all four of these happen while people put a Yas Island Diwali festive offer package together, more than once.
- Buying single tickets one at a time. Two separate tickets cost more than the 2-park pass, while three cost a lot more than the 3-park pass.
- Assuming the mandir is open Monday. It isn’t, normally — and Govardhan Puja is a Monday in 2026.
- Leaving the return taxi to chance. Diwali evening surge pricing is simply brutal in both emirates.
- Booking a Dubai hotel for a Yas Island weekend. Otherwise you’ll spend three hours a day on the E11. One night on the island fixes it, and Stay and Play pays for part of that night in park tickets anyway.
Beyond the island there’s plenty more — the Louvre Abu Dhabi is twenty minutes away and almost empty on a Sunday morning, and things to do in Abu Dhabi lists the rest. Staying Dubai-side for Dhanteras shopping? Things to do in Dubai has the city list, and the official Visit Dubai Festival of Lights page carries the fireworks and mall-promotion dates.
Is a Yas Island Diwali festive offer package actually worth it?
Say you’re a family of four doing two parks. Then the numbers land like this. Four 2-park passes come to AED 1,580. Four single tickets to the same two parks would be about AED 2,520. One hotel night on the island, booked as Stay and Play, often lands close to what you’d have paid for a Dubai room plus two days of taxis.
So yes — but only if you build it in the right order. Pass first, shuttle second, hotel third. Do it the other way round and you’ll pay festival pricing on all three. For the wider regional picture, the official Visit Abu Dhabi site lists what else is on across the emirate that week.
Frequently asked questions
Typically a multi-park pass for two to four parks, a hotel night booked as Stay and Play, and transport. Several TickYourList tickets already include a free shuttle, so the transfer costs nothing extra.
Sunday, 8 November 2026 is the main night, when Lakshmi Puja happens. Dhanteras falls on Friday 6 November, while Govardhan Puja is Monday 9 November and Bhai Dooj Tuesday 10 November.
Abu Dhabi. Yas Island actually sits about 90 minutes from Dubai on the E11, so plenty of visitors base themselves in Dubai and simply come across for a day.
Four 2-park passes work out near AED 1,580, so you save against about AED 2,520 for eight single tickets. Then add a hotel night, because the Stay and Play deal covers the park entry for that night.
The 4-park pass at AED 570 works out around AED 142 per park overall. However, if you only have a weekend, the 2-park pass at AED 395 is the sensible buy.
More on booking Yas Island for Diwali 2026
Some do, actually. Our Warner Bros World and SeaWorld Abu Dhabi tickets both come with a free shuttle, so a family saves roughly AED 800 in taxi fares.
Yes, and because Diwali 2026 is a Sunday and the mandir opens Tuesday to Sunday, 9am to 8pm. Registration is mandatory though, and you can only book a slot after arriving in the UAE.
Weekends do, especially Saturday. Weekdays stay noticeably quieter though, so Bhai Dooj on Tuesday 10 November usually ends up the calmest park day of the whole festival.
Two days generally covers two parks and the mandir comfortably. Three days lets you add SeaWorld without rushing, since the multi-park pass stays valid for six days from first use.
Tickets and hotels, yes, although festive-week rates climb. The mandir registration actually has to wait until you are in the country, so handle that one on arrival.
