Regrettably, this experience is not wheelchair accessible.
For parents with infants and small children, please note that baby seats are not available on the Railway, Skyway, or Cableway. Children must be securely held by a guardian.
While the Cableway and Skyway are suitable for strollers, please be aware that strollers are not permitted on the Scenic Railway for safety reasons. Stroller access on the longer sections of the Scenic Walkway is restricted due to steep inclines and stairs.
Individuals with cardiovascular issues, vertigo, fear of heights, and pregnant women are advised not to participate in this activity.
Ensure you have on hand comfortable attire, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and water. During colder months (June-August), warm clothing is essential.
Scenic World operates in all weather conditions. The Railway, Skyway, and Cableway cabins are enclosed for protection. Rain ponchos and umbrellas can be purchased onsite if needed.
Complimentary covered parking is provided onsite for guests arriving by private vehicle.
Important: Prior to boarding the bus, make a mandatory stop at the ticket office located at 283 Bathurst Road, Katoomba, for redemption of your combo tickets for both the bus and Scenic World. You will also receive a guidebook and the entry code required for the rides at Scenic World. The ticket office is open daily from 8:30am to 3pm.
