Getting started

Present your booking confirmation and ID at the Shark Dive Xtreme desk. Fill out a brief medical form (some guests may need clearance). Lockers and showers are provided for your convenience. Additionally, you can purchase up to four discounted spectator passes on-site for your friends to witness and capture your dive experience.

Embark on your adventure with a comprehensive safety briefing and scuba training to boost your confidence. Gear up and descend into Shark Valley for a 30-minute guided dive—no cage, just you and the sharks. Swim alongside grey nurse sharks, wobbegongs, and rays in small groups of up to four. Conclude your dive with a commemorative certificate as a memento.

What to Prepare for Your Dive

• Bring along your booking confirmation and a valid photo ID for smooth check-in.
• Don't forget to pack a swimming costume or swimmers to wear under your wetsuit for the dive.
• Ensure you have enclosed footwear for safety and comfort during your visit.
• It's advisable to bring a towel and toiletries if you plan to use the showers post-dive.

Items Prohibited During the Dive

• Avoid wearing prescription glasses during the dive; consider using contact lenses if required.
• Leave personal cameras, GoPros, or recording devices outside the tank as they are not allowed.
• Diving is restricted for pregnant individuals or those planning pregnancy.
• Refrain from alcohol consumption the night before your dive as it's strictly prohibited.
• You must be able to swim 200 meters or walk 1.6 kilometers without resting to participate.
• Avoid flying within 12 hours post-dive due to safety regulations.

Accessibility Guidelines

• Guests aged 14 years and above can join the experience; those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• All divers need to complete a medical declaration; some conditions necessitate clearance from a certified dive doctor.
• While the aquarium is wheelchair accessible, the Shark Dive Xtreme experience may not be suitable for all mobility levels.
