Avoid bringing large bags, rucksacks, or suitcases (30L or over) as they are not permitted inside for security reasons.
Note that pets are not allowed to join you on this experience due to venue restrictions.
Remember not to take any photographs inside the State Apartments as photography is strictly prohibited.

The Palace of Holyroodhouse is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible, with the exception of some parts of Mary, Queen of Scots' rooms.
Guide dogs are welcome at this venue.
48-hour HOHO Pass
Parts of Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse are wheelchair accessible, as well as the Royal Yacht Britannia experience and the HOHO bus.
Mobility scooters are permitted if they can be folded and stored as luggage.
Both guide dogs and pet dogs are allowed on board.
Palace of Holyroodhouse
The Palace of Holyroodhouse welcomes visitors on 23rd December but remains closed on Christmas Day.
Due to being a working royal palace, security measures and opening hours at the Palace of Holyroodhouse may change suddenly.
Please note that the palace is closed to the public on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
48-hour HOHO Pass
Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult or senior citizen during their visit.
You have the flexibility to board the HOHO bus anytime between 9 am and 6 pm and explore the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh Castle, and the Royal Yacht Britannia within 48 hours.
