Uffizi Gallery:
Items not allowed include large bags, backpacks, umbrellas (store in the free cloakroom near the entrance), flash photography, outside food, drinks, drones, and pets (except service animals with prior notice)
Accademia Gallery:
Prohibited items are large bags, beverages, tripods, and flash photography
Additionally, pets are not allowed except guide dogs, service dogs, and certified therapy pets
Both the Uffizi and Accademia Galleries are accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, with amenities for visitors with mobility requirements
During maintenance from December 2, 2024, to December 2, 2025, lifts in the east wing near the Granducal Staircase will be closed. Visitors needing lift access can request assistance to the west wing lifts (Lanzi Staircase)
Tip: Start your visit at the Accademia for a shorter experience and save the Uffizi for last, as it usually requires more time to explore fully
