Know Before You Go

Ticket delivery and entry

• You need to activate the pass before using it.
• You can activate the pass online, at Italian ticket offices, travel agencies, tour operators, the Trenitalia call center, self-service ticket kiosks, FRECCIAClub, or FRECCIADesk in Italian train stations.
• When activating the pass, indicate the first day of use.
• After activation, you will receive the pass via email. Show this email to Trenitalia staff at the station or on the train, along with a valid foreign ID.

No. This ticket is non-refundable once booked, so it cannot be cancelled for a refund and no partial refund is given for unused entry. Check the date and ticket type before paying.

If your plans change, you can get an 80% refund before using your Pass. The Trenitalia Pass is exclusively for non-Italian residents. Each Adult Pass allows for up to two children (ages 4-12) to join for free. For more than 2 children, an additional Youth Pass is required.
