San Sebastián Aquarium attracts over 300,000 visitors annually, ranking as one of the city's top attractions. Situated by the harbor near Old Town, this iconic establishment, dating back to 1928, showcases Gipuzkoa's maritime and marine legacy across its two floors.
A key feature of the aquarium is its 31 Cantabrian-Atlantic Sea and tropical-themed tanks. The Oceanarium stands out as the highlight, featuring a 360º tunnel with over 1.5 million liters of water and 40+ fish species, including Atlantic and Cantabrian varieties, along with two sand tiger sharks. Noteworthy exhibits include a northern right whale skeleton and diverse marine life from the Bay of Biscay, totaling over 200 species.

Extended hours on Sat, Sun, and holidays, from 11 AM to 8 PM
