Beginning your adventure
Upon arrival at the skydiving center on Rottnest Island, you'll go through a seamless check-in process. Following this, you'll attend a comprehensive safety briefing, get suited up in a jumpsuit and harness, and meet your skilled tandem instructor who will ensure your jump is both safe and exhilarating.
Highlights of your experience
The ascent: Ascend to your chosen altitude and prepare for the thrill of a lifetime. Opt for the 10,000 ft jump for a 30-second freefall or the 15,000 ft jump for an extended 66-second freefall. Enjoy panoramic views of Thomson Bay, The Basin, and the island's hidden gems as you soar through the sky.
The leap: Take the plunge from the aircraft alongside your instructor, hurtling through the air at speeds of up to 200 km/h. Experience the sheer rush of freefall as you descend above the island's mesmerizing beaches and crystal-clear waters.
The descent: As you reach around 5,000 ft, your parachute will deploy, allowing for a peaceful 5–7 minute glide above Rottnest Island. Marvel at the bird's-eye view of the coastline and beaches below as you gracefully descend.
The landing: Touch down safely on one of Rottnest Island's pristine beaches, such as Thomson Bay, Bickley Bay, or Fairbridge Bluff. Reflect on your incredible adventure while still buzzing from the excitement of your skydiving experience.
Avoid bringing loose items as they are not permitted. Please store them with the staff or leave them at your accommodation.
Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited before your scheduled skydive jump.
Note that this activity is not suitable for individuals under 16 years of age or those weighing over 95kg.
The meeting point is at Rottnest Island Airport, Brand Way, Rottnest Island.
Guests under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian present to provide consent and complete necessary paperwork on the day of the jump.
For guests exceeding the 95kg weight limit, please liaise with the staff for further information.
You have the option to include skydiving photos and videos in your package for an additional fee.
Guests wearing spectacles or contact lenses will be equipped with suitable goggles for the experience.
Kindly note that skydiving is subject to weather conditions. Be flexible with your schedule. In case of inclement weather, your jump will be rescheduled for a more suitable date.
