Experience the charm of the Edo period at Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura, a historical theme park in Japan. Step back in time as you wander through cobblestoned pathways, interact with attendants in traditional attire, and explore Edo-style buildings. Dive into the world of samurais and ninjas through captivating exhibits and activities such as legend-based plays, ninja houses, and shuriken throwing classes. Unleash your inner warrior with Japanese archery and capture the moments with a character-themed photoshoot. Don't miss indulging in the delicious Dango rice dumpling snack, a beloved specialty of Jidaimura, for a complete cultural experience.
Ensure you collect your admission tickets (single-use) within 5 days of your chosen date. Remember, tickets cannot be collected if it's 6 days or more from your selected date, with no refund available in such cases.
Once you have your tickets, they are valid only for the day of collection and cannot be combined with other tickets or services.
For those interested in the dress-up photoshoot, here's what you need to know:
Duration: 10 minutes
Choose from a variety of costumes such as Princess, Maiko, Japanese Lord, Samurai, and Ninja. Opt for special outfits like Oiran, Shinsengumi, or Kamishimo at an extra JPY 500 charge.
Individual photos will be taken, and each participant will receive one L-size print (89 mm × 127 mm). Additional copies can be purchased on-site. (Limit of one photo per person).
If there's a queue for a specific costume, kindly wait for your turn. Once the current session ends, you can enjoy your photoshoot.
We offer child sizes for costumes like Ninja, Japanese Lord, and Princess.
Respect our policy by refraining from taking personal photos during the session.
Kindly wear studio costumes only within our premises and avoid taking them outside.
During June to September, switch to the yukata photoshoot plan for a unique experience (participants can wear the outfit and explore the venue).
