In case Nijo Castle is closed, the itinerary will be adjusted to include a visit to Ryoan-ji Temple.
If Kyoto Imperial Palace is inaccessible, the tour will be redirected to Kitano Tenmangu Shrine.
Nijo Castle is closed every Tuesday in January, July, August, December, and during New Year's holidays.
Kyoto Imperial Palace does not allow entry on Tuesdays, national holidays, or during Imperial house events.
