This excursion is not suitable for kids under 8 years old.
It's advisable to pack comfortable hiking boots/shoes, a waterproof jacket, warm attire such as a thermal hat and gloves, sun protection, lunch, a water bottle, and a daypack. Walking poles are optional and can be provided by the tour company.
