Get a chance to connect and study animal behavior better than ever at Dubai Safari Park. Spread over a massive 119 hectares, the Safari Park has over 3000 animals and is divided into 6 different zones, each with a different geographical theme. These include the African Village, Asian Village, Al Wadi, Kids Farm, Explorer Village, and Arabian Safari. The Explorer Village and Arabian Safari are drive-through attractions where you will get to see animals like the cheetah and the Arabian Wolf.

The Kids Farm is one of the favorite spots in the park where your little ones will get a chance to feed, pet, and interact with some of the park’s cutest residents like goats, ponies, and sheep. If you need a little time to rest before exploring the rest of the park, you can walk over to the Al Waid where you can munch on some snacks and look out at the pond. If you want to make your wildlife experience more wholesome, you can choose to upgrade your experiences to include live presentations, a workshop, and a 35-minute safari tour.

• You’ll find the park in Al Warqa 5, a bit outside central Dubai. It’s not too far, but not somewhere you’d casually walk to. 
• The park welcomes visitors from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but they stop letting people in after 3:30 PM, so don’t be late. 
• The safari rides are popular , try to grab an early slot if you can, especially on weekends. 
• Dubai’s sun can be intense, so mornings or later in the afternoon are much more comfortable for walking around. 
• A water bottle, some sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and comfy walking shoes will go a long way. 
• No metro drops you right outside. You’ll either need to drive, book a cab, or go with someone who’s got a car. 

• Is it like a zoo or something else?
  It’s way more than a regular zoo , think open zones, safari rides, and walking trails. 
• Can I drive through with my own car?
  Nope, but they have guided buses and trains that take you around. 
• Is it okay for toddlers or older folks?
  Yes! There are ramps, shaded spots, and shuttle service throughout. 
• Are outside food and drinks allowed?
  Officially, no. But I saw folks carrying small snacks and water bottles. 
• Can I feed the animals?
  Yes, in some areas , especially the giraffes. There’s a small charge though.
