Prior to your scheduled time, arrive an hour early for a comprehensive safety orientation. Gain insights into underwater protocols, hand gestures, and breathing techniques essential for your underwater journey. Gear up and descend into the mesmerizing shark-infested waters.
Observe the sharks from the safety of a transparent enclosure, enhanced by the allure of fish buckets attracting them towards you. Witness these incredible creatures feeding mere inches away. Equipped with a breathing helmet, you can explore this captivating underwater world confidently, without the need for professional assistance beyond the initial safety briefing.
Essential Information for Your Visit
- Age Requirement: Participants must be a minimum of 10 years old to join the activity.
- Physical Criteria: To participate, individuals need to meet specific physical requirements such as a height of at least 150 cms and a shoulder width of 45 cms.
- Advance Reservation: Ensure to make a reservation for your Shark Encounter adventure at least 48 hours in advance of your preferred date.
- Operating Hours: The Shark Encounter experience at Dubai Aquarium commences daily at 2 PM. It is advised to arrive at least 1 hour earlier for a safety briefing.
- Additional Limitations: Expectant mothers and individuals with mobility challenges are not permitted to participate in the activity. Please be aware that a medical consent form must be signed before engaging in the dive.
- Group Size: The enclosure allows a maximum of 2 participants at a time.
