Payment of the Chichén Itzá tax ($39 for adults & $6 for children) is mandatory on-site and can only be made via credit card. Mexican residents can avail discounts by presenting their ID.
Rental of the compulsory life vest for the cenote experience costs $9 and is not included in the ticket price.
