The Caminito del Rey route is one-way, starting from the north entrance in Ardales and concluding in El Chorro town at the south entrance.
If you are driving, you can park at the Visitor Centre Parking Lot.
Keep 2.50 EUR handy for booking a roundtrip shuttle service from the parking lot to the trek's meeting point. The shuttle also returns you to the parking lot for convenience.
The trail spans 7.7 KM (4.8 miles). Ensure you are physically prepared for the hike.
Prior to starting the trek, have a meal and use the restroom as there are no facilities along the route.
Children aged 8 to 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Remember to carry your identification documents.
Obtain safety equipment such as helmets and radio headsets from the ticket office near the Northern entry point.
