Caracalla Baths
Experience the grandeur of the Caracalla Baths, a remarkable ancient spa complex built by Emperor Caracalla. Explore the well-preserved Thermae Antonianae, showcasing the typical layout of Imperial spa centers. Beyond bathing and sports, this site offered opportunities for study and relaxation. Discover the Calidarium, Tepidarium, Frigidarium, Natatio, and other areas, all supplied with water from the Aqua Antoniana aqueduct. Despite undergoing multiple renovations, the spa ceased operations in 537 A.D.
