• Don't forget to pack swimwear and a towel if your children plan to enjoy the splash play area.
• Bring some cash or a card for small purchases; ATMs and EFTPOS are available on-site.
• Remember to bring any necessary personal medications; however, basic supplies are also sold at the gift shops.

Prohibited Items

• Items not allowed include glass containers, alcoholic beverages, plastic straws, balloons, balls, frisbees, and kites.
• Restrictions also apply to scooters, bikes, roller-blades, skateboards (except for mobility aids), weapons, drugs, drones, and items that may harm wildlife.
• Feeding animals is permitted only with approved food purchased at the zoo.
• Smoking and vaping are restricted to designated areas.

Accessibility Details

• Australia Zoo is wheelchair accessible; however, please note that the transfer vehicle for the tour is not wheelchair accessible. If you can transfer in and out of the vehicle with some assistance, this tour may still be an option for you.
• Wheelchairs can be hired at Australia Zoo for $35 per day ($30 with a pension discount); pre-booking is recommended due to limited availability.
• Mobility scooters are available for hire at $70 per day ($65 with a pension discount); pre-booking is strongly advised.
• The zoo offers a free internal shuttle service that is wheelchair accessible; however, mobility scooters may not fit on the shuttles.
